How to Apply and Remove

Before you start

Wash your hands and push back your cuticles with the wooden stick. Buff the surface of each natural nail lightly, then wipe every nail with the alcohol pad. Oil and lotion are the main reason a press-on lifts early, so give the wipe a moment to dry.

Find your sizes

Lay each press-on over your natural nail. It should cover the nail from side to side without touching the skin. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one and file the sides a little. Set all ten out in order before you open the glue.

Apply with glue for long wear

  1. Put a thin drop of glue on your natural nail and a thin drop on the back of the press-on.
  2. Line the press-on up at your cuticle at a slight angle, then lower it onto the nail.
  3. Press firmly for 20 to 30 seconds. Pressure matters more than time.
  4. Repeat for each nail. Keep your hands out of water for the next two hours.

Apply with adhesive tabs for a night out

Peel a tab, press it onto your natural nail, remove the top film and press the nail on for 20 seconds. Tabs hold for a day or two and come off without soaking. Every set ships with tabs so you can try the fit before you commit to glue.

Remove

Soak your fingertips in warm soapy water for 10 minutes, then work a wooden stick gently under one side of the press-on. Rock it from side to side until it lifts. Never pull a press-on straight off. Clean the leftover glue with a buffer, put the nails back in the case, and they are ready to wear again.

Make them last

  • Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning.
  • Use the pads of your fingers to open cans and tabs.
  • Top up with a tiny drop of glue if one edge starts to lift.
  • Store the set in its case, out of sunlight.
